do I think he is ready?

...when are we, as mothers, feel that our children are ready to leave the nest?
I pray that I am learning, through Our Lord's guidance, to let go and allow
HIM to guide my children's steps.

I know that God is orchestrating every step...but oh my goodness,
this is hard!

  1. Beautiful flowers, Mari! And I pray your health improves. As for our children. So hard. Yet the greatest gift you can give your children is their freedom. Even if they make mistakes....they know you are there to come back to at any moment! Andrea

  2. It is very hard Mari, but the more independence we as mothers encourage, the stronger they will be. And we are always there as back up!

  4. Hi Mari, it is hard for sure. When both of my children flew the coop I was lost. When they moved back in and left again, it wasn't so bad lol! I hope it gets easier for you.

Did you happen to receive a little package within the last week? I sent something out and just want to make sure you received it.

    Have a nice weekend.

  5. Mari, I felt the same way when my children left home. Now that they have been on their own for several years, I realize that God and I, raised them right...Mainly God! It's so hard to let them go but the joy of watching them spread their wings and fly, knowing you have done your best, is such a reward. Give them to God and just watch what He does!

    Grace & Peace,
    Pam

  6. I understand your heart Mari.. my children are in that in-between stage as well, and as others have said, it is hard but better if we can let them go, knowing that you have raised them right, and given them to the Lord to watch out over them and protect them. Beautiful flowers! Praying for you :)
